I have been stuck in the office doing nothing.Aba is virtually at a standstill & it's due to one factor-RAIN.
Rain & summer in Aba are mutually exclusive. They coexist & bitching about rain is a favourite past time of Abalites during the summer months.

I woke up at the sound of my alarm clock,6:00am(necessary because of the nature of my job & distance).i carried out my morning rituals and set off.i have to pass through Ariaria International market(back to it,later) and a huge refuse dump on the road.As a proper 'nwa Aba' i was prepared & paid somebody #50 to ferry me over the dump.
I entered keke at faulks road & said a quick prayer against hold up.i'm onto something good this morning as my prayers were answered.
No hold up,no police checkpoint,no army.hmmm.let's hope, the rest of the day pans out so

Hello everyone
I'm Egbu Yugo,a core Nwa Aba who decided 2 establish this blog because of d poor & often misinterpretation of Aba as a backward city who are only interested in business and as a dirty neglected town.
While some of the stereotypes are right, the magnitude is what i'm against.i plan to use this medium to present the real Aba and the Aba of our dreams.
Come with me as we discover or should i say rediscover the city that was dubbed 'THE JAPAN OF AFRICA'
